
Release 6.4 Status
JTLS-GO 6.4.0.0 was delivered 30 June 2025.
JTLS-GO Version 6.4 is an improvement release of JTLS-GO. No basic system configuration changes have been made as a result of this new version, but JTLS-GO 6.4 does require Linux 9.6 and PostgreSQL 15.13. In addition, several significant Engineering Change Proposals were implemented in response to the needs of the user community. The significant capability changes include:
- Implement the ability to use a map server to provide realistic maps to the Web Hosted Interface Program (WHIP) and the Database Development System Client (DDSC) User Interfaces.
- Representation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Swarms and the ability launch UAV air missions from larger aircraft
- Better representation of satellite destruction.
- Ability to represent dual model Acquistion and Fire Control sensors.
- Representation of empty units referred to by various federations as "Grouping Folders" or "Container" Units.
- Improve the flexibility and control of the Damage Combat System event used to magically represent Combat System damage to support of exercise planned Events or Incidents.
Summary of Version 6.4
A formal Version Description Document (VDD) is published for each released version of JTLS-GO, except interim version releases. For interim releases a text file with an explanation of the changes is provided to the user requiring the interim release.
This version of JTLS-GO has still not gone through U.S. Government Operational Testing. This testing is scheduled to occur in August 2025. The Test Plan as of 30 June 2025 is available for download here.
